Master Production Scheduler (P6 or Junior P6 Planner)
About the role
UGLs Manufacturing & Maintenance business are looking for an experienced Master Production Scheduler (P6 or Junior P6 Planner) to join to team at our Bassendean facility on a permanent full time basis.
Reporting to the Planning Manager, the primary purpose of this position is to create and maintain a safe and functional production schedule for the Bassendean operations through the use of P6 and other planning support software.
This role will effectively manage, control and co-ordinate the production planning, tracking and trending work activities, resource loading and materials planning across the Western Australia M&M Operations.
Qualification and Key Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in an appropriate engineering or project management discipline.
- Experience in a manufacturing/maintenance or service provider planning role. Or a scheduler embedded in a PMO with high levels of governance.
- Cost control and schedule preparation experience using P6.
- Strong problem-solving skills and professional, responsive, insightful and decisive decision making skills.
- A high level of business and commercial acumen.
- Proficient skills with Primavera P6 and in SAP, MS Word, Excel.
- 5S and other LEAN best practice experience – highly desirable.
- Experience in Power BI – desirable
